Contributions made through M-Pesa toward church projects, pledges, tithes, or offerings are gifts and are typically non-refundable once confirmed by M-Pesa. This reflects both the nature of charitable giving and how funds are allocated to projects promptly after confirmation.
We will review and, where verified, refund a contribution in cases such as:
Contact the church office with your M-Pesa receipt number, the amount, the date of the transaction, and a short description of the issue. Verified refund requests are processed back to the original M-Pesa number.
If an M-Pesa STK prompt is cancelled, times out, or fails, no funds are deducted and no refund is necessary — the contribution simply shows as failed on the payment status page and you can try again. If your M-Pesa balance was deducted but the contribution on this platform still shows as pending or failed, treat this as a request-for-refund case above and contact us with your M-Pesa message.
